2. The molded latex is then frozen to force water to uniformly distribute through out material. The water in the latex keeps the latex from sticking to mold- it releases like a Teflon or Pam sprayed pan.
3. It's temperature is raised to 210 ƒF to vulcanize the rubber. Then it is 99% cured.
Talalay latex is made in individual aluminum molds. Firmness and density are consistent throughout the poured mold piece.
The glue used in the Talalay mattress is water based latex. This means the mattress is all latex- no chemicals are added. This eliminates solvents and chemicals found in glues. The Talalay mattress is stronger at the seam - the latex will tear before the seam.

1. The rubber gel is formed in a vacuum using carbon dioxide to cause the gel to foam. No chemicals are used in the process. The vacuum mold doesn't need gravity to disperse the mix. The vacuum in the mold causes the mix to spread evenly throughout the mold chamber, side to side, end to end, top to bottom, unaffected by gravity.
